It takes time to balance everything and most of the time I will be honest I feel like a juggle more than balance, but it all works out in the end. Prioritize your life, find what means more and place that at the top of the list and go from there. Just know we all go through this.

My children are grown now, but when they were little I had to give up some of my desire to be and stay organized. It's really a case of making sure your priorities are straight on a day-to-day basis. Raising your children comes first, which I'm sure you know. For me, that meant baths and bedtime stories had to come before making sure toys were picked up, etc. That was 20 years ago, so I didn't have a computer to occupy all or part of my time. (I say all because I'm addicted to this medium!). Once my kids were old enough to function on their own, things seemed to lighten up. But it is gradual.
Help your children help themselves. I had my kids folding their own laundry when they were in Kindergarten! So responsibility was age appropriate and grew over time.
I'd be happy to chat some more with you about this topic. Please feel free to email me.
And remember to take good care of *you* too!

Hope you are feeling better!
Staying organized - one word: caffeine! :-)
Yea, the bills have to get paid and the laundry is a must. Kitchens have to be swept and mopped and the carpet vacuumed but having things spotless? Nah, not a necessity at all. Living life is much more important.
I know this is turning into a novel but I guess I just wanted to remind you that none of us will look back on our lives at our deathbed and say "I sure wish I had mopped and vacuumed more", do we?
While we like to think we're superwomen, sometimes we need to remember that we don't *have* to do it all.
